Incantation

I just read this book and it was really good. It is about a girl who lives in Spain and is raised Catholic and is one day told she is secretly Jewish. By the way this is all happening during the crusades. Which is the time when Jewish people were killed for being Jewish if they didn't convert. Something I really liked about this book is basically every chapter something really unexpected happens! And believe it or not, at the end I was bawling it was so sad.

  2. When you said that the book was about a girl who lives in Spain and is raised Catholic I thought about how some of the explores explored to spread christianity. But then you said that she was Jewish I stoped thinking that even though the explorers probaly turned Jews into christans, I just didn't think that that the book would be about that. I have a few questions: Who is the author? What do you rate the book? Do you think that a lot of people in our class would like this book? Where did you find the book? I realy want to read Incantation now. It sounds great!

  5. I would rate this book a 9 because it taught me so much. This is the book I was talking about during school. I would think people in our class would like this book if they had some background knowledge and they could handle the ending. I found the book at the book fair but I'm sure they have it at the library.
