The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

This book is by Kate DiCamillo. I really like it so far; I think I would give it a 10 so far. It’s about a china rabbit named Edward Tulane was own by a girl who treated him very well and adored him completely. One day he fell into the sea and a fisherman fish him up and gave him to his wife.

I think that Edward will get back to the girl in the end. I also feel bad for Edward because he’s getting toss around like he’s just any old thing and he’s not use to it. When I was reading it I felt a bunch of different feelings like sadness, happiness, and scared that nobody would find him he would just stay there or where he was; but I always hoped that someone would.

  3. Good job! I really liked this book too.

I think that if you like the book so far, then you'll love the rest of it! I haven't read The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane in a while so you might have to remind me what's going on.

The ending made me cry in a sad way and yet a happy way. I think that you'll get what I'm saying when you finish the book.

    Enjoy!

  4. First off I love this book! Secondly I like how you put what you thought is going to happen in the end. I remember always hoping the next person to get him would be the girl. I don't think that the girl deserves to have her playmate taken away but I think Edward deserves it. I think this because of when the grandmother whispered that he needs to learn to love. I think that's why he deserves it. Does this book remind you of The Velveteen Rabbit? It reminded me of it. Izzy, I cried too. Especially when (I'm trying to not give it away. ) you know what happens. I also cried for happiness. Like each time he finds a good home.
