The Titan's Curse

The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan is the third book in the Percy Jackson's Olympian series. Percy is on yet another quest to save two half-bloods when Grover sends him a message. He will fight monsters, titans, and go through hilarious adventures, which cause awkward and amusing chapter names.

One of the things I like about Rick Riordan's writing style, is that he puts humor such as funny chapter names that hook me: The Demon Pigeons Attack, I Vaporize my Pre-Algebra Teacher, and I put on a Few Extra Million Pounds. I love it when writers do that because it encourages me to continue reading. Last year I did not find books or authors I really loved. I was always starting but never finishing books. However, Rick Riordan is definitely my favorite author because of his special style.

This books is great for avid readers and especially for people that used to be like me, who weren't so keen on reading for pleasure. I can highly predict you that you will be absorbed in this series as soon as you give it a chance.

The Titan's Curse

I'm reading The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan. Its the third book in the Percy Jackson series. This book so far has been the best in the series. The series is about a boy named Percy Jackson and his friends that go to a camp called Camp Half-blood, they go on a quest together and save or find something depending what book. In this book so far Percy goes on a quest with some of his friends Thalia, Grover, Bianca di Angelo, and Zoe Nightshade. They are going to find Zoe and Bianca's leader, Artemis. The only reason Percy wanted to go on this quest is to save his friend Annabeth, another one of Percy's friends, but he did not tell that to his friends yet.

This book is really action packed and full of imaginations. Sometimes I don't really like too much action in books because it sometimes gets hard to understand. In this book it has just a little too much action but I still really like this book. Sometimes when I'm reading a series I sort of get bored of it and almost start not really paying attention in what's going on in the book. For me right now feel like I'm about to start to not pay attention, so I think after i finish The Titan's Curse I will try a different book and than come back to the series.

I chose to start this series because when Rick Riordan came to our school last year and talked about the books he wrote, I was not that interested in them. I kind of thought they were boyish and seemed sort of weird. This year I saw some girls reading them and I asked them if they were good and they said yes so I decided I would try it. The first couple of days I thought the book was strange and I thought I would have to quit it. After a week passed it started to get really good and I could not stop reading. I'm so glad I did not judge this book by the cover otherwise I would not of started this really good book. Even though I said I might stop the series, I never said it was not a great book. Its a fabulous book.

In this book for me its hard to really imagine the characters. In the book orders from school you could get this series of books and it showed a picture of Percy. I did not at all imagine that's what he looked like at all. The hardest characters for me to imagine is Annabeth and Thalia. In the book it says Thalia is sort of goth. That just makes it harder for me some reason. Annabeth is also hard for me to imagine. I don't really know why it just is. I'm wondering to myself why are the girls hard for me to imagine.

I think it was my first of second book blog and I mentioned that I thought The Lightning Thief might come out in a movie. Well a couple of days ago I saw a poster of it and that it is really coming out in a movie. I'm so excited to see how they have the characters look like. The people I most want to see is Annabeth, Grover, and Chiron. Those are some people I can't imagine.

I'm so glad I chose this book and without it I would have been struggling on what to read and start to think why am I reading this book, it's so boring or strange. When I think about it I wonder why I did not want to read The Percy Jackson series. I love this book and I hope others will too.

The Titan's Curse

I am reading The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan. I am reading the series and this is the third book. This book is about Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, going on another quest to save Annebeth and trying to destroy Cronus.

I love this book because it has a bunch of action and it has Greek mythology. I can not stop reading this series! I read about 50-80 pages a night. I know that's a lot but I cant help myself. My other friends are reading it so slowly its seems that they are in slow motion. There are about any creature you can think of. For example there are Pegasus', hell hounds, the fates, furies, cyclops, and more. Everything in the series everything is so magical. There are A LOT of action parts which I LOVE. This book can also get confusing at some parts and they get you hooked. I was reading the book and the chapter said A Friend Says Good-Bye and I was like, "what who is it?!" they also have really funny chapter names. For example, one is called I Wrestle Santa Clauses Twin, another one is called I Go Snowboarding With A Pig. Sometimes the title of the book doesn't even have to with the book at all. The second book called The Sea of Monsters there was only one chapter that had to do with the book.

In conclusion I love this book the most out of the first three books of the series. I cant stop reading! The only warning I should tell is that I think it is a better idea to read about the greek gods/godess, either than that have a blast!

The Titans Curse

To understand The Titans Curse, you'll need to read book 1,''The Lightening Thief'', and book 2,''The Sea Of Monsters.''  This book in the series is so far keeping me guessing. Already something has happened that I wouldn't have ever expected. This series is a mix of Greek mythology and of the fictional real world.  It talks about real people and Greek monsters like a centaur and a minotaur.  it also talks about the Greek gods like Apollo and Zeus.  you will always have the feeling that each moment is chasing you like you cant stop until the very end. It talks about the underworld, how the empire state building had a secret six hundredth floor that lead to mount Olympus [which is almost impossible to understand that it could have that many]. This is a book that makes me read about an hour each night.

you will probably want to go to a summer camp after you read this series of books called ''Percy Jackson and the Olympians.'' This book is new york times #1 best-selling book series, which is pretty great. And just to top it off, a character Percy Jackson has strange dreams when there is danger or if his friends are in trouble.  If you like how the book sounds, great, but if you don't, when you are finished reading the book you're reading now, try out the series or a book called the dark is rising. its very interesting for just one book.

THE TITAN'S CURSE

THE TITAN'S CURSE is the third book in the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series. I read the first book (THE LIGHTNING THIEF) and it was great so I read the second book (THE SEA OF MONSTERS) and it was even better than the first book. Now I am reading THE TITAN'S CURSE and then it hit me every book gets better and now I am always wanting to read more and I am going crazy because I already want to read the next book. This book is the most action packed, fun to read book that I have ever read. If you like books that leave you thinking or wondering what's going to happen next then you are going to love this book. I forgot to tell you what this book is about. This book is about Greek gods like Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. This book is also good for adults because they will learn about Greek myths.

P.S. I think Rick Riordan is making a fifth book.

The Titan's Curse

The Titans Curse is the sequel to the sea of monsters and the lightning theif. The titans curse is for me the best of all three books. The voice in my head is all ways thinking the odds. I think that this seares is better than the Harry Potter seires The thing in this book is about a kid named Percy Jakson he is twelve years old and he figures out he is a half blood. A half blood is someone who has a god parent and a human parent. This is a book about the greek gods and the romans changed there names. I would give this book a 10 because it has adventure, humer and a little of romance. It preety much has every thing.
