Al Capone Does My Shirts

Al Capone Does My Shirts is about a boy named Moose. His family has to move to Alcatraz because his dad is the jail guard and the electrician. Moose and his 16 going on 7 year-old sister think it is going to be torture. When Moose and his new friends get in trouble with the warden, who made clear rules that they just broke, Moose almost gets kicked off the island.

I am really enjoying this book because I never really know what's going to happen next. It is a pretty thin book but it is very entertaining. Such as his sister, she is about sixteen but she acts like she is about eight. She has a button collection she is obsessed with. Whenever Moose takes one button she always knows which one he took. She also has mental brake downs. I say that because one time when she was playing with her buttons and Moose accidentally knocked them over she curled up into a ball for more then an hour and went into her own little world. So then their dad had to pick her up and carry her back to the apartment.

I would recommend this book to anyone. It is fabulous!
