Fire Bringer, a book by David Clement-Davie, is a book about a fawn named Ronnoch with the mark of an oak leaf upon his brow. It is a wonderful story full of tragedy. Though it is confusing at times because of their use of animal tongues (language), it’s still exceptionally good. While I was reading this book, I began to forget it was about deer. Also, while reading this, I beginning to feel as if I was there. This is a good book for any who like animals.
Take our classroom booktalks one step further: blog it! If you've got a book to recommend, post a recommendation and tell what your friends why you liked the book -- but don't give the story away...
