Ender's Game

I am reading Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card, right now, and it is fantastic! I am glued to this book, so of course, I am reading it really slow, because when I like a book a lot, I read it really slow, to make sure I get all the information to understand it.
Ender Wiggin, the mane character, is a 12 year old boy. Though in the beginning of the book he is 6. In this book, the world is different. People are only allowed to have 2 kids, there are buggers, which is a sort of alien, and there is something called the I.F, International Fleet, which is a big army that protects the world from buggers. When a child is about 2 to 3 years old, they have a monitor on the back of their neck, that can kind of tell what the child is thinking, and it protects them. When a child gets this they are being tested to see if they would be right for the I.F.
When Ender gets recruited for the I.F, he must prove that he has the guts to survive battle school. Everything is new to Ender, except trying to stick up for himself by older kids, his brother has already taught him that with his life threatening fights against Ender. Will Ender live up to be a commander of an Army team? Will he show himself smarter, stronger and a strategizing genius, or will he dissolve among the pressure of being picked on, and being away from the only person who loves him, his sister Valentine?
The reason I told you that people are only allowed to have 2 kids in this book, is because, Ender's parents had 3. They had Peter, Ender's mean older brother first, but the tests on Peter showed that he was too high tempered to be on the I.F. Then they had Valentine, but she was too soft tempered to be on the Fleet team, so the governor asked if they would have Ender, and so far Ender's tests have proved him to be a good soldier.
I am really liking this book! It is very intense, and surprising. I think it is surprising because when I think Ender is finally going to be happy with himself, he isn't because he thinks of something like, I am bullying people around, just like Peter, when all he did was grab a kid and push him to the wall. This book has some cuss words, and is not like your everyday read, but it really is a great action packed, very exciting, descriptive book.
