The Boy Who Ate Stars

I think that that book is about a lot of things other than a girl encountering an autistic boy. I think this because it talks about friendships and life from another point of view. When I was reading it, the voice in my head was saying,  "Oh, wow!  This is a lot like A Corner of the Universe, except the autistic person in The Boy Who Ate Stars is younger and it is not quite as sad."  I think that this book is very well written.   I would give this book a 9.

Hoot

Carl Hiaasen wrote Hoot in a new way. By saying this, I mean that I felt like one of the characters played a different part. For example, when I read a book I always feel like the authors make a runaway the bad person, like a runaway criminal. Or, a boy who doesn't live with his family lives out on the streets. I felt that what Carl Hiaasen did in terms of making the runaway the good guy was cool how he took a step away from a protected cave. I loved the book, overall.

Shipwreck (Island Book 1)

Shipwreck is a book about six kids who are all on the boat for reasons that are not so good. As I got into the book, I started to really enjoy it. At the beginning of the book the voice in my head started to say that this book had the same reason to go on the ship as in Holes. I was real impressed with the outcome of Holes around the subject of why the kids were there. I am now excited and questioning what the author of this book will come up with, or if the author will even come up with something at all. I recommend this book and, so far, would give it a 8.

Marin Pet Gazette

I am reading the Marin Pet Gazette. It is a kids news paper that I found on my dower step. I finished reading the news paper today. At times when I was reading it I was reading it I would find an interesting fact. The voice in my head would be out of its mind about how amazing that was. For example when I read that, "Teddy Roosevelt's pets included; Sailor Boy, a Chesapeake Bay retriever; Manchu, a Pekingese; Skip, the mutt; Terriers named Jack and Pete; cats named Tom Quartz and Slippers; Josiah the badger; Algonquin the pony; Eli the macaw; Jonathan the piebald rat; Emily Spinach, a garter snake as well as twelve horses, five bears, five guinea pigs, several lizards and roosters, two kangaroo rats, a flying squirrel, a raccoon, coyote, owl, lion, hyena and a zebra." After I read this the voice in my head was amazed and said,
"Wow and that's amazing!" I really enjoyed this news paper as it talked about all different animals and cool things about the environment. I would really recommend it!

Lionboy: The Chase - Book Two

I am reading Lion Boy: The Chase. I really enjoy the detail that the author puts into these books. In the book there is a animal called a Saber Toothed Lion but they said that Snowy leaperds had gone extinced. I don't think they have gone extinced yet witch enfasises Annapurna saying that she thought this toke place in the future. I have a feeling the anwser to this question is yes but, I was woundering if there is a natural history musseum in France? The reason I ask this is because they talked about one in the book.
