Strange Happenings
Strange Happenings is a five-part story by one of the best authors, Avi, who is well known for books like The true Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, City of light, City of Dark, and Pinky and Rye. (series). At times I found the book stupid, at certain points I found it depressing, and at times I found it good. I would rate Bored Tom a 3, Babette the Beautiful a 6+, Curious a 3+, the Shoemaker and the Old Scratch a 7-, and Simon an 8. Overall, this book was a 6-.

NICE POST! Why was the book stupid at times, good at times and depressing at times?
ReplyDeleteI read this book too! All the stories in the book were good. I mean I never put the book down but it wasn't the best book either. Bored Tom was OK , I mean, it was it was good but I guest the ending. The rest of the books were this same but I think they were beter than Bored Tom. My favorites were Babette the Beautiful and Simon. also I think Simon was a good way to end the book.
ReplyDeleteKatie,
ReplyDeleteWhy did you like the placement of the last story?
