  2. Eleven, by Patricia Reilly Giff, so far, is one of the greatest books that we are reading for book clubs. I just sit down, where ever it’s comfortable and read. No distractions. I is so easy to read this book in a way without stopping. It sucks me into it!
Eleven has scary and nervous moments that keep my heart pounding as fast as Sam’s (the main character). The author adds in descriptive words that make this book even more addictive. And all the talking back and forth makes it seem like everything is happening right next me. Eleven is just so fun to read.
I can’t wait until we have our next book club meet. Then I can read more.

  3. In class I am reading Eleven,by Patricia Reilly Giff.SO far I don't like the book. Usually I like mysteries but this one isn't pulling me in. I think apart of the reason I don't like the book so much is that I find it a little confusing.
Eleven is not a challenging book to read so that is the only reason I don't absolutely hate it.
I'm not totally looking forward to the next book club, but you never know, It could get more interesting.

  4. I am reading a book called Eleven by Patricia Reilly Griff. I am going to tell you about my thoughts of this book. I think that eventually Sam will be in a position where he has to be able to read to solve something or save someone, or to save even himself. I think that Sam has a pretty weird life and that it is kinda akward that Sam does not know how to read by age 11. I also like the cliff hanger moments and the shocking moments because it really makes me wanna keep on reading the book until I find out that I read a couple pages more than I was supposed to. So I just have to wait until the next book club meeting. I also have lots of inferences of what is going to happen next, I just really really wanna read all the way to the end of the entire book. So I can just know what happend instead of waiting a couple days to read more.

In class, I'm reading a book called Eleven. The book isn't so bad, but to me it's a bit confusing. I wish the book was a little more understandable, and a little less confusing. it would be hard not to read most words, because then we wouldn't be able to read this! the cliff hangers are good, but most of the other stuff makes no sense to me, like why doesn't he know how to read and why doesn't he understand his dreams?I'm looking forward to the next book club, because the next one might be a bit more interesting.

  7. For book club I am reading the book Eleven, by Patricia Reilly Giff . So far I kind of enjoy the book because I can connect to it since it is about eleven year olds. The reason I don't like it, is because I find it sort of confusing since it goes from one part to another.
When I’m reading this book, lots of thoughts go through my head. For instance, when they go outside, I think about dark stormy days, which I happen to like. But mostly I think about imagining this happing to me and how crazy it would be with all this action. I have a lot of other thoughts about this book, but this are the strongest ones.
For me, it is really easy to try and predict what will happen in this book. Usually none of my predictions are correct, so I find that kind of weird. I think that this is a book most people will either like or dislike, but for me it just in between.
I wouldn't totally recommend this book, but it is a page turner mystery. I have a lot to talk about in my next book club meeting
