Penny From Heaven
Penny From Heaven is a fabulous book. Penny's father died a long time ago so Penny lives with her mother, grandfather, and grandma. It takes place sometime in 1953. I liked this book because the main character, Penny is telling the reader everything that happened to her every day. Also Penny has SO many relatives and her dad's side is Italian and her mom's side is American. Her relatives have so many of their own stories to tell Penny and their very interesting. Penny also has some interesting stories herself. for instance, the story ends in how Penny got her hand stuck in the wringer and how she was in the hospital, then her arm got better and she went back to school. I'm really glad I got a chance to read Penny From Heaven. And I'm also glad I got this book for my birthday because if I didn't I would have never gotten a chance to read the great book.

ReplyDeletedear Audrey,
ReplyDeletePenny from Heaven sounds like a good book to read in the winter. I think I would like to read this book because I like to read stories about orphans, and stories from the 1900s'.
I remember when you got thais book for your b-day. You thought it looked like a good book, and now that you have read you still like it.
