The book, Chicken Soup for the pet Lovers Soul is packed full with stories that will blow your mind away! I can connect to them pretty well, I've had loads of pets in my time. I've have and have had cats, and I had mice, hermit crabs and a snake. Even though this book is mostly about cats and dogs I can still relate to them like I've had cats that I just love, speaking of loving cats my favorite story is about a lady who loves a kitten named Boston. I have connections to some stories, well not connection connections. Like I remember loving my mouse, Molly and my hermit crab, Ernie and bring really upset when they died but they were not the same animals as the ones in the book and they didn't die the same as most of the other animals but it is still a connection. i have to say, I really think I am going to like this book a lot.
I just started this book called Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul to days ago but I've read quite a bit. Well, not really, but don't tell. The Chicken Soup series is made up of all these small stories that people write, even famous people have written in the Chicken Soup series. I think that's pretty cool. As I read more of this book I begin to love it even more. What I love about it is the verity of exciting and depressing pet story in this book. I also love how there are quotes in the book, although they are not from the people that have written one of the many little stories. These little stories have a relation to each other, what I think the relation is that they all have some kind of animal that makes there life better in some way, remember I haven't read very much so it mite be different later in the book. Over all I like this book so far and I hope you start to read it or any of the Chicken Soup series and love it too.
I love the series Chicken Soup for the Lovers Soul, though I have only read one. They are made up of short stories that people sent in, there are even some famous people who wrote them. The one that I'm reading is called Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul. There are some really sad stories, happy stories, and very interesting stories and at the top of almost every story there is a quote that somebody wrote about that topic. My favorite story is Sparkle the Wonder Dog because it is about Gene Wilder (the original Willy Wonka) and Gilda Radner (who was a famous comedian that died of cancer) because it was a story that was sad but turned out to happy. In the same story I started crying and couldn't stop. I felt very uncomfortable, because my dog is 13 and is on the urge to dying it is really hard for me to cope with that. My least favorite story was The Gist of Subira, because I didn't get how a cheetah could be a pet. To be honest a kinda skipped through the last page of it because I was SO bored. But that is just my honest opinion. So far this book is great and I can't wait to read more.
The book is great to read and is different then all of the other books I have read so far. What makes it different is that it has little story's in it, and you can go through it real easy and no cliff hangers like other books. Their is a story that is my least favorite of all I have read so far, and it is Doggy Express. I didn't understand why they said their dog Snoopy is dead and then he wasn't? But still their are plenty more stories I have to read, then the book will be finished. Their are real cute stories to like the story called Lightning. But their are plenty of stories that I like as well. I really recommend this book to allot of kids who love pet's, that's why it is called Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul.
The book chicken soup for the pet lovers soul is a great book with tons of mind blowing stories! I was a fun book to read. All though there were a few boring stories I loved it! The stories are about all kinds of animals from raccoons and squirrels to cats and dogs. my favorite story is about a lady who loves a cat named Boston. so cute! I would rate this book a 1 being worst and 10 being least a 9. A 9 because there were a few boring stories. I would recommend this book to you if you love pets and heart warming stories. I think they should have had a story about a gecko or lizard, they had a snake com eon people geckos are so much cooler! I think all pet lovers should read this book. I loved it!
Chicken Soup for a Pet Lover's Soul was a very interesting nonfiction book, it had some sad moments in it and some happy moments. In the book there are stories of times people had with their pets. Each pet was loved dearly by their owner, and usually lived a long happy life. I even cried in one of them. I was really impressed by the authors because they picked some really good stories. My favorite story in the book was Barney, because it was about a cute little squirrel and you wouldn't expect somebody to have a squirrel as a pet.
If I had to rate it 1-10 I would give it a 8 1/2 because it was very funny and adorable at some parts, but it was also really sad. I personally like happy stories better then sad ones. It was cool though because all the stories were actually written by people who went through the experience. It's probably very different for me to just read the story then to actually have it happen to you.
If I was to share this book with anyone, I would probably share it with pet lover's (like Nina). I would tell them to be prepared for some sad stories and to also enjoy all the happy ones. This book is definitely a great book and that everybody can enjoy all around the world!
The book Chicken Soup for a Pet Lover's Soul is pact full of amazing, interesting, sad, loving, cute, and a lot more stories. There are a couple not really interesting and ones that you can't really understand, but mostly are wonderful stories about there life with there pet. For me, I have a favorite, my favorite is when this women named Roberta got to swim with dolphins, but she was hemiplegic meaning one side of her body was paralyzed and she thought "Just because I am paralyzed doesn't mean that I should set limits for myself, I am determent not to set limits for myself ever again." I thought that was such a happy ending and how she changed so much.
If I was going to rate this book 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest it would be a
81/2 or 9, but it is packed full ooh my god moments and heart warming stories.
I would defiantly recommend this book to a pet lover and someone who could handle a couple sad stories, but enjoy all the happy stories. I loved this book and hope that you will too!
