I thought that book three, The Titans Curse, was good, but so far this one seems better. For starters, this brings back two characters from the last book, and this one seems much more adventurous. It left me in complete mystery in some parts, and I didn't expect some things in other parts. Now I would request the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, but it's not required to read it. If others would like to read it, I would first finish the book I'm reading right now.
I didn't expect Percy to get stranded on an island. Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson travel from camp half-blood to Manhattan all through a maze. They also run through a lot of problems along the way. This book is pretty sweet, with all the excitement just building up inside of me when I read. I feel like I could read all the books by Rick Riordan, since they probably all are this action-packed. The Percy Jackson series is the only books I know he wrote. Hence the reason that I didn't know about this author before.
