The Number Devil is about a kid named Robert, who has trouble with multiplication but is lucky to have a special, I guess, a gift. The gift isn't a toy or a pet,it is a little devil. The devil isn't isn't a bad guy,but he teaches Robert some multiplication like the rutabaga of 2 and he also teaches Robert about exponents. Some people would probably think that The Number Devil is a boring book, but it teaches people stuff they didn't know before in a totally new way. This book is from the author Hans Magnus Enzensberger and the illustrations are from Rotraut Susanne Berner. He might have wrote this book in a different language because it was translated by Michael Henry Heim.
