The Akenten Adventure
The Akenten Adventure has got to be just up there in the my coolio, froolio book list, and I really think I should tell you why! John and Phillipa Gaunt are two ordanary children untill they figure out there djinni,(genie)! I think that one reason I loved the books so much is because there is so much magic and dueling and possesing! Although the book is very cool, be warned it is deffinetly not a comedy! I would give it a 8 for a rating, because I'd give it a 10 if it was funnier, and I'd give it a 9 if they could use their powers even when it was cold out!

I really liked this book too. I was hooked on the book straight away. I waited and waited for the next the book. It was a long time, but it finally came out. Again I was sucked into the book. When I was at the end of the book, I saw a little note from P.B. Kerr. It said: If you would like to write to P.B.Kerr, please visit www.pbkerr.com. I wrote a long e-mail to P.B. Kerr explaining how much I loved his books. To my surprise he wrote back! To my delight he said that there would be at least 6 books. Mrs. Ritter first told my about the books, so I could not wait to show her the e-mail. I personally disagree with Ben on the 8 rating because the books are cool books. I think that the books don't need to be funnier because they have a lot of adventure. I agree it would be nice if they could use their powers even when it was cold out, but because the cannot use their powers in the cold it gives the books a bit more of a twist! I would give it a 10, higher if I could.
