What ~the~ Dickens
I am reading the book What ~the~ Dickens. This book is about a little fairy named What the Dickens. In this book, What the Dickens meets the tooth fairy and is taken to a fairy land. I know that it sounds cheesy, but Fairy land is a lot more interesting then it sounds. I think that the author did a really good job with all of the different fairies personalities. I loved it when The tooth fairy was getting the tooth, it was really cool how she used floss for a lasso. The detail in this book is so good! I also loved the conversation that was being held between the grandma and the fairy about her dentures. I cant wait to see what happens next. I am loving this book!

What would you rate it and why? It sounds like a great book to read. How long did it take you to finish the book? What were some of the personalities and did there names have to do with there personalities? Because of all the infermation I really want to read it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great book. Is fairy land happy, or more like the real world? Have you read any of the Artimes sieries? You'd really like it. It is about a boy who is trying to steel gold from the fairies except the faries have guns and they fight goblens, not with magic wands. If you have read this seiries, what do you think about the differences and simlaraties?
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a great book. Is it a good book club book? Izzy's book also sounds really inresting. what woul you rate it, Izzy?
ReplyDeleteHow did the auther discribe the faires, did it discribe it what colors the fairys are? whould you say this book was magical or mysterious? I haven't read the book but I have sean the cover and it looks like a scary book, is it scary? Has the auther made any other books? From what you have said is makeing me think I will read the book.
ReplyDeleteZoe you are absolutley right the book is a great one and what you wrote is actually what happens in the book but now I know what comes before me.

Is this book to girlish for me? Because I dont want people looking at me because im reading it.
ReplyDeleteI would rate the book at 7-8.
ReplyDeleteJoe,
ReplyDeleteThis book is NOT a girly book, by any means! If I had to apply a gender stereotype to it, I would have called it a boy-book.
The whole idea of a girl-book or a boy-book brings up an interesting issue. Don't you think that you should be able to read anything?
Would you discribe this book as funny? It seems like a great book and because of your post I want to read it really bad! The whole idea of meeting a tooth fairy does sound interesting!
ReplyDeleteThis book looks really out of the ordinary. Is it sort of everything mixed up? Because the way you put just that little bit of info about it gives me the same picture that the Phantom Toll Booth created. Is it like everything is exactly like it sounds or seems to be but in a way you wouldn't expect it?
ReplyDeleteA lot of people have said to me that this book is really good.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm worried that there's not going to be enough action or dueling.
And even if there isn't much of that I'm sure it's still a great book!
Another question of mine is if it is funny, if so how funny?
