Wringer

Wringer is a book that Clem and I are reading for book club and so far it is great! This book is about a young boy that loves birds and his father and his friends are all becoming wringers (bird hunters). They all try to encourage him to be one, but he just can not. He can not wring the necks of the tiny innocent little creatures. Then one morning he sees a pidgeon sitting apon his windowsill.
How will he hide this small pigion? It's up to you to find out!

  2. I would NEVER I REPEAT NEVER be a wringer. It's torcher. The whole idea of the shooting of 5,000 birds is plain stupid. Typical steriotype. "All pigeons carry disease" yea right! I'm at the part in the book where he has to hide Nipper so the boys don't kill it.
