I thought Farmer Boy was really interesting because it was fun to see how they did everything back then. I thought that it was wild that the teachers would fight boys, as their punishment, if they came in late for school. The boys and girls could not have recess together and could not sit next to each other. It's a great book and I would give it a 9.

ReplyDeleteIt was about a boy who lived on a farm and he and his family have to do every thing themselves. They lived over 100 years ago.
ReplyDeleteWhy I gave it a 9 is because some parts of it were sort of boring and I would just wish it would speed up the pace!
wow! That book sonds relalistic fiction and and just fiction because fighgting with the boys is odd, I mean, the teachers would whip and pateled them but I never hered that.
