Twilight

Twilight is an amazing book about a girl named Bella, who lives with her mom but one day she wants to go to her dad's house for the year. This book is really descriptive when it comes to describing people. For example, "Then a doctor walked around the corner, and my mouth fell open. He was young, he was blonde...and he was handsomer than any movie star I'd seen. He was pale, though, and tired looking, with circles under his eyes. From Charlies description this had to be Edward's father". Though I am only in the early pages of sixty I have seen a lot of that.

This book has a lot of, romance, action, thrills, mysteriousness and even a bit of scariness. So far in this book I have been really enterained because of the intresting trates.

I am really excited because this book is going to be made into a movie in a few months.

  1. You did a good job supporting your statement about the descriptive writing with a quote from the text.

How did you happen to come across this book? I know that a lot of people are reading it now, especially because it is about to come out in theaters.

  2. Haley,

I have a good connection on the same book, My sister Trisha has read all of the Twilight books and LOVES the books and she also read the first book two times! She is trying to make me read all of the books just like her, I really liked how you explained Edward and I saw the aids for the movie and it looks great and the book is also very good! every time I even bring up a word even close to twilight she starts bugging me again and it really gets on my last nevers and when I said " I really liked how you explained Edward " thats really true when my sister talked about him it was the same thing you said how vampires have pale skin and really red lips and when I saw the aids on E.T. (on T.V.) Edward's hair is brown or black but I don't think it was blonde but that dose not really matter so how did you hear about the book I know that its really popular but how is it so good and what makes it so good? I'll never know but hopefully you can tell me and if your free we can see the movie together and I gess that Trisha will come too.

  3. Haley,

The way you posted on the book Twilight you really intreuged me and I think I might read it. Plus my 17 year old sister read Twilight and she said it was really good but it was sort of scary. She read the book New Moon or Eclipse and I think if that is a series then those go along with them. She really loves the books and I think I might read them after she is done. But the point is I really liked your post!

  4. Like I said before Twilight is a really good book at the beginning but gets even better at the close to end. This book invites more people into it and then your brain starts spinning because you have to remember all of them.
My favorite character is probably Edward because it is so cool that he is about 330 years old. His mood changes from happy, excited, angry to scary. He has so many stories to tell and they are all so interesting for example he told Bella how Carlisle his "dad" swam to somewhere in France from London. Edward's sister Alice is also one of my favorite characters because she is so energetic, she would seem like she would never get mad or angry.
This is such a good book and I am SO excited to finish so I can get to the second book New Moon.

  5. About three things I was absolutely positive.
    first, Edward was a vampire.
second, there was a part og him-and I didn't know how dominant that part might be-that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

    Haley-
I started reading this book sometime in early January. I really like this book a lot and I think it will be my favorite book. I like this book because it's way different then all those other vampire stories. Like the ones were there's a bad vampire that sucks people's blood, hangs upside down like a bat, lives in a haunted house, sleeps in a coffin, etc. THIS story is an exciting book were you can't wait to turn the page! It's pretty much a total romantic dilemma! Because Edward absolutely LOVES Bella, but is dying to suck her blood. This book was pretty much a lovey-dovey book until about the 375th page (chapter 18), the part where the bad vampires attack Bella. There ARE some other parts like that, but not that much. Also, I think this book is very thorough. Stephenie Meyer worlds best author! I seriously just can't stand it! this is truly the best [girl] book ever! Those of you who are out there, reading this, I am just saying "READ THIS BOOK!" I swear, read it and you will be hooked after reading just the first word.
My sister was the one. she told me about Twilight, I read it. I love it.
