Painless Grammar

Painless Grammar is what can I say, painless. It's about how you should talk and correct grammar. For example: you should not say, "I will lay down" say "I will lie down" those are parts of the book. What's fun, is that somtimes there will be a ramdum subject and  it will be in the book later. This book is not really a story about anything, but it's a great book about grammar.  It is fun to read and I've learned a lot from it.  There are pages about one thing to make sure you understand.

Rapunzel's Revenge by Shannon & Dean Hale

So, you think you know the story of Rapunzel? Think again. This graphic novel is like no other fairy tale you have read. Set in the Wild West, Rapunzel is raised by the wicked Mother Gothel. When her wicked "mother" puts her in a prison tower, Rapunzel outsmarts her by using her loooooong braids as a means of escape. The wild situations she gets herself into just never seem to stop. I kept thinking, "oh no, not another dangerous escapade". She teams up with Jack, a former outlaw, to try to right the wrongs of the world and help the oppressed. I found the adventure to be non-stop, the illustrations amazing (the illustrator said it took him a year), and the dialog kept me chuckling throughout. What's more, the ending is quite satisfying!

Marley a Dog Like No Other

Marley is a great book about a big male Labrador retriever. In the beginning of the book, there’s some stuff about the author and how when he was little, he got a dog that was perfectly well behaved and never did anything bad. After that, when he got older, he and his wife bought a dog that was “stupid” and never listened to commands, jumped on people and knocked people over. I think that it was very funny that Marley was scared of lightning and thunder but it is also sad that he is so desperate that he tries every thing to get out and then ends up with bloody paws and snout. I think this book is a great book because of how it is a true story and it shows you that l dogs are not perfect loving animals, but that some are.

When I picked the book up I thought that the book Marley was a book written from the dogs perspective and I didn’t want to read it, because I read a book from a dog’s perspective and I didn’t like that book. I wanted to find out if the book was written from Marley’s perspective, so I flipped to a page in the middle of the book and read a paragraph and it was from the man’s perspective, and luckily I read it.

The People of Sparks

At first when I was reading The People of Sparks, I was a little confused, not knowing who any of the characters were. The People of Sparks is the sequel to The City of Ember, and when I started The People of Sparks there weren't any of the same characters, and I didn't know where the setting was either. So pretty much what I'm saying is that in the beginning of The People of Sparks it was very confusing, or undetermined you might say.

As the book went on, the book started to make more and more sense. The main characters were mentioned, and they became part of the action too. Well, I don't know if they were part of the action actually, but that's just because there wasn't any. The book got more interesting as you got farther into it. The characters started to do more, and the plot became hotly anticipated.

If you have read the Ember books, you might of noticed this too, but to me it stood out. All books in the Ember series have titles that are The Blank of Blank. They are all called The Something of Something. I notice this as similarities, and I think it might be a style of the authors writing.

The People of Sparks is a great book so far, and if you're looking for a good book to read, I sure hope you choose this one!

Accidental Love by Gary Soto

As you as probably guess this book has a lot of romance, duh! When I picked up this book and I thought okay two people in love that weren't supposed to be in love but, when I started to read this book it was a lot different then I thought. Anyway, when I started reading this book there is a girl that broke up with her boyfriend when her boyfriend crashed his dad's car and the glove compartment flew open and picture of him and another girl hugging that flew right on her lap. And that's pretty sad for a girl to see, so she broke with him, then it goes on to different thing's like going to a new school. I think that the first part was my favorite part so far.

Some parts are kind of hard to understand for me. There is a little bit of Spanish which I don't know that much of. It wasn't a just right book because it was written in a way I would think a age group from maybe 12-60 and I'm not quite 12 yet. well, it really just depends what kind of a reader you are.

Well, I would recommend this book to anyone that likes romance and a tad of Spanish and is a young experience reader or the age group that I said in the second paragraph . And why don't you just find out your self and read this book!

The Big Bazoohley

The Big Bazoohley has a lot of action. A poor family goes to the King Reward Hotel where Sam and his family have $44.20 in all the world and the hotel charges $453 a night! They are from Australia and they are visiting the U.S., and they are in the middle of a giant Blizzard. They are in for some trouble and Sam has to save them. It happens to involves sleepwalking, semi kidnapping, a little romance, ten thousand dollars and a possible witch. Oh and of coarse the Big Bazoohley.
This book made me think a lot about what is going to happen in the rest of the book if I should stop right know or keep on reading it would I have to stop on a bigger cliffhanger or a smaller cliffhanger. The relationship between Sam and Wilfrid is interesting because they are both friends and have a lot in common, Like they don't like his mom or dad and they both like baseball hats. I liked this book a lot because it is kind of spooky. I would recommend this book to people who like spooky action.

The Mysterious Benedict Society

This book is an amazingly adventurous book about 4 characters, Sticky, Kate, Reynie and Constance. These 4 are on a secret misson for Mr. Benedict. This story has a lot of adventure as I said before because they are on a secret mission on an island. This book has a lot of friendship. too.  All of the characters don't know each other before this so in the book they get to be friends and earn each others trust. When I read this book I always wonder what's going to happen next because this book is a mystery and so many things happen in mysteries because the characters are always getting into trouble.

What I think about when I read this is what it would be like to be there, to be that character, or I'm glad I'm not them, and things like that. Like there is a part where Sticky gets caught in a plant, and I mean caught Sticky practically gets eaten by it.  Thats when I was glad I was not him!

Anyway I am really enjoying this book and if you very much like mysteries I would try this book and see if it's as fantastic for you as it is for me.

Seer Of Shadows

Seer Of Shadows is a great book about a boy named Horace. He is an apprentice to Mr. Middleditch. Horace helps Mr. Midleditch with his job, and in return Mr. Middleditch teaches the art of photography. One day, a black servant girl called Peg comes along and tells Horace her very rich mistress is coming to get her picture taken. When Horace tells Mr. Middleditch this message, Mr. Middleditch concocts an "evil"plan. Horace has to take secret pictures, and this plan turns into a dangerous adventure when he makes a ghost come back from the dead.  This ghost has his "heart" set on vengeful murder, and Horace and Peg are the only ones who are able to stop it!

This book is a great, interesting book because it has wonderful cliff hangers, and big old action stuffed in. It is a good story to read on Halloween, because it is a very spooky book. Avi is a super writer because he writes with a lot of suspense and mystery inside his stories. He also writes with a lot of emotion. I think Seer of Shadows  is a most awesome book to read.

Vive La Paris

This book Vive La Paris  by Esme Raji Codell is a terrific book for two reasons. First, because it is two genres, realistic fiction and historical fiction. That is great because you get to experience two genres at a time.

Second, the character from one of her other books, Sahara Special, Sahara is a pretty cool kid. For instance, " I really think you should take that off Paris, said Sahara" when Paris was wearing her yellow star. I thought that was cool to put characters from different books by her into her other books.

In this book the main characters are African Americans and speak of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  That made me think was a earlier year than the 21st century but when one of Paris's  brothers said, "Think like the 21st century, Michel." That kind of caught me off guard when he said that because I all along thought that it was earlier in time. Have I mentioned Paris the main character is like? Well if I haven't here I go, Paris is a girl who likes history, takes piano lessons from a little old lady named Mrs. Rosen, has for brothers, and has a friend named Luz. She is a girl who learns about the place she was named after with her piano teacher.   I would like Mrs. Rosen as a piano teacher because she could give me advice and she had a good selection of old costumes and music.

For Boys Only

The combination of Marc Aronson and HP Newquist as authors makes a great book. From math tips to cracking codes and sports to snacks, this book is packed with extreme fun. I would recommend this book to any typical boy. Just remember to keep a chitchit close when working on the puzzles. I would give it 8 stars out of 10. This is the best book I've read this year and the one before.
I thought that the book was great. Not only was it beyond expectations, but it had everything that you would not expect in a nonfiction book (including the man who walked between the twin towers). Some of the book may creep you out, but most of it is fun. I didn't touch it at first, so my mom had to motivate me. But when I first picked it up, I knew I was going to have a hard time putting it down.
P.S. If you want to help me work on the puzzles, you can.

Pendragon, Book Nine, Raven Rise

As you may know, Pendragon is a book that contains lots of violence, a little bit of humor, and depression. But it also has action. Lots of action. Like a whole ton of action. In fact, if I made a list of every action packed part in the book, the list would go on forever (almost). Now, here's an example of something that I would surely put on that list:

At one point in book nine, the main character, Pendragon, is faced with a carnivorous mutant bear-thingy. At first, using it's sharp claws, the mutant bear-thingy makes a big cut in his arm, making him weaker (the wound later caused him to pass out from blood loss). But using his non-injured hand, Pendragon grabs a black magic wand-like weapon, that was lying on the ground nearby, and manages to use it to impale the beast in the eye, and puncture it's brain, making it squeal in pain, and fall down, dead. Pendragon had won the battle! But wait! He wasn't done yet! He walked over to the body of the beast, took the black weapon out of its eye, and plunged it into it's chest, multiple times, just to make sure it was dead.

So, at least now you know how sick, and disgusting the action is in Pendragon. Actually, I just used that example, because it's probably one of the most disgusting parts in the book, but still. You also now know that, when I said that Pendragon had humor, violence, and all those other things, I forgot to mention that it also had sick, disgusting violence. Oh, and I hope my disgusting descriptions didn't make YOU pass out (LOL).

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I liked the book Harry Potter and the half blood prince because it is a perilous book with tons of action. Harry is still going through the five stages of grief, because Sirius has died. Then, he and Dumbledore go on a dangerous journey to find The 4 remaining horcruxes of Lord Voldemort. Harry finds out more about Voldemort's family and past by taking 3 or 4 trips into the Pensieve. With Hermione and Ron, he fights the most dangerous of people, like Fenrir Greyback and other evil Death Eaters that have their minds set on murder.

I think that J. K. Rowling is an awesome writer because she has written 7 books in the Harry Potter series, and she writes in a voice that makes you forget everything else.

Eagle Strike

I am currently reading Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz, I'm reading it specifically because I'm trying to go through all of the Alex Rider books. I wanted to do this because when I started reading Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz I loved the book so much that I had to read the rest so I thought it would be a fun thing to do.

I am enjoying this book so far because it you are always wondering what Alex Rider is going to do in the situation you're thinking about, but the Alex Rider books can have some violence so you're wondering how he can save his life. What I also like about these books is that I have found that in books when its a bit scary and has some violence, I actually like it, but don't take me the wrong way I don't like violence but in books it makes it very exciting and challenges me as a reader. Yet another thing I like about the Alex Rider books is the gadgets, I personally love spies! The gadgets are cool and I wish I could have stuff like them. But in this book as he is not working for the MI6 when he meets the villain he had no gadgets but I bet he will soon!

In the Alex Rider books I admire Sabina, the whole romance of the book. What I admire about her is she is very mature and athletic, with a good sense of humor, which I always like in a character. I also admire the main character, Alex, who is also very athletic, mature, and has a good sense of humor but what I like about him most is he is a secret agent working for the MI6.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes gadgets and spies, and books that at some points you just cannot put down.

Molly Moon's Hynotic Time Travel Adventure

This Molly Moon book is by Georgia Byng. It is the third one. In the first book Molly Moon learns how to hypnotize and in the second book she learns how to stop the world, by freezing it. When I first saw this book I looked at the cover and thought that Petula, Molly's dog was going to have a puppy. It really tricked me because I took so long looking at the picture on the cover that I didn't pay much attention to the title that said Molly Moon's Hypnotic Time Travel Adventure. Time Travel is the key, because if they travel back in time then they can get the puppy Petula.

In this book Molly Moon learns how to time travel. Molly has ruined the plans of a evil person, who is as evil as he is ugly. FOUR Molly Moons are in this book. Petula Molly's dog gets stolen. While she is stolen she gets her ear pierced. Molly found out that when you time travel something bad happens to you! Back in time Molly meets a thief that steals her time traveling stones, but they bribe them back. I thought that Molly would be stuck in the past.

Molly Moon is my favorite character. I admire her. I admire her because
she is always full of excitement and mystery. In this book I think that the setting is important, because when Molly stops time you don't know if everything is like ice, or if the surroundings are the same color just frozen.
I recommend this book to people who like adventure and enjoy reading funny fantasy.

Tatterhood

This book is not really true but not really false either, so it is gonna be kind of hard for most people to fully understand. It was written by Ethel Phelps and is based on stories from people all around the world. Some of these stories are myths and some are legends. I really liked this book because now I know what other parts of the world strongly believe in. I think that you should read this book because it will give you an idea about what the rest of the world thinks happened. It has a lot of stories from Africa and Japan.
While I was reading this book I thought lots of things such as "Wow, I never even thought that that could happen that way." or " I s that even possible?". When you read this book, you will almost defenitely think of how stuff could've happened. I would give this book a ten out of ten because it really explained a lot of things that I had never even wondered about, such as, how the catipillars got to be here or about constellations. This book is extremely interesting while being sort of magical at the same time. I really love this book, and I hope that you will, too.

Almost Starring Skinnybones

In Almost Starring Skinnybones, Alex gets sun glasses signs auto graghs nobody wants. why? you read for your self. Alex makes a commercial. And because of that, he gets to get laughed at. Alex always gets laughed at. Yay! Yay! I'm going to be in a commercial! but insted no one can stop laughing until they get sluged twice. Skinnybones is a great series and... a funny one to. so he made the commercial because he won a contest and he has to do what he hates most. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. every one laughs. Read this book and see how funny, fun, and clumsy alex is. I recomend it.

The City Of Ember

The City Of Ember is a very great book by Jeanne DuPrau. It takes place underground, and the main characters are Doon and Lina. They find an instruction book of how to escape their city Ember, but unfortunately, some of words and letters were missing. Lina tried to figure out the words, and figured out what the instructions said. She did have some help from friends and family though. After Lina has figured out what the instructions meant, Lina and Doon began the journey to escape Ember. The journey is very difficult because of boating in a paddle boat, having to climb up a wall which took several hours. Finally, Doon, Lina, and one of Lina's family members make it out of Ember and send a letter saying how to escape Ember, and some one finds it. The book ends there, so you have to read the next book in the series to find out what happens.

Babe and Me

Babe and Me is written by Dan Guttmen and is a part of the And Me series.  As always in the books, Joe has has problem but he also has solved them but that could change any time. But the reason it is called Babe and Me is because Joe goes back in time again but to 1932 to see the 1932 World Series in Wrigley Field, Chicago to try to see the New York Yankees vs Chicago Cubs but that was one goal the biggest one was to see the famous called shot home run by Babe Ruth.
Joe finally spends quality time with his dad he never really got to go to a real pro baseball game Joe is the biggest baseball fan I have ever heard of. Joe notices that he was in the middle of the great deprecation so he really found out what that was.  Now is the best time to read about a president fail again.

Spalt!

I read a book called Spalt by Eirc Walters and by the way its a really good book, Anyway when I first came picked up the book I got kind of confused of what spalt ment. I stood there staring blankly at a book cover my mom probably thought I was crazy, But then it came to me spalt meant something splating into someone or something. I felt so weird and I was thinking about why it didn't come to me before.

When I was reading this book I, realized how much this was about tomatoes and, this is really just a personal opinon, but I don't like tomatoes very much. When I was done with this book, I thought the beginning of of the book doesn't really fit with the rest of book. The begining of the book is these two young boys, Keegan and Alex, trying to figure out if the cops were trying to look for them. The cops were trying to find them, but not because they did anything wrong, though. The mayor wanted to talk to them about the tomato fest.  But in the end, it's about throwing tomatoes. Well maybe that fits.

I would recommend this book to anyone that likes...tomatoes!

The BFG

This book is weird and interesting at the same time. It made me think, is this possible, is it true? That is what I thought a lot when he said that flowers screamed when you picked them, and I hoped not. It is also very funny how the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) talks. He puts 'is' into almost every sentence. I was wondering how the BFG hears these things, and are they true? I would recommend this book to people who like humor and weird things.

Night Hoops

Night Hoops is one of the best books I've ever read. The reason I think that is because you can find the difference in the beginning and the end. The other reason I think it is one of the best books I've ever read is because it is an author I have never heard of. I knew I liked it right away because right at the first sentence it got into action. Most books introduce the author and say his friends, which takes up a chapter.  This first sentence gives a good lesson: it tells how to stop the fastbreak. It is a good book and I would reccomend it to any sports fan.

Wolf Brother

Wolf brother is an extremely exiting book about 3 characters, Wolf, Torak, and Renn. This book is full of action and friendship. Torak found Wolf after a terrible thing, a bear killed Toraks father and not just any old bear a demon bear. Before he died Torak swore an oath to find the Spirit Mountian or die trying. Torak and Wolf run into a RavenClan patrol and meet Renn then all this extrordenaty stuff happens in the RavenClan camp and Torak finds out that he's The Listener! There is a prophecy that tells it all. A shadow attacks the forest. None can stand against it. Then comes the Listener. He fights with air, and speaks in silence. Torak has a whistle that only Wolf can hear, and he has to fight a battle with Hord, Renn's brother, to live, and he uses steam. But along the way to the mountians with Renn and Wolf there is some thing else, the Nanuk. I won't tell you more because I don't want to give it away.
This book is great because I love to think and my mind is always spining when i read this. It gives me great ideas for different things like, I love to write about nature and this takes place in nature! I am crazy about reading and I read for hours when I get a good book and this is one of them! I really enjoyed this book and I hope you maybe try it too! As I said before this book is full of friendship Torak gets to be best friends with Renn and Wolf as always there too. I hope as you read you notice some of the things I have said and can also think about it in your own way.

Katie Kazoo,Switcheroo No Messin' with My lesson

This book is about a girl called Katie Carew.  Her teacher, Misses Derkmen, entered the Cherrydale Teacher of the Year Contest, so now their teacher is offer reacting. And Katie has a very big problem, especially because she lives right next to her teacher.  To win the Teacher of the Year Contest is Misses Derkmen's biggest wish, and Katie knows that wishes can go wrong  a lot.
I think this book has a lot of humor and I like the character Susanna a lot.  She wrote a column that's called "Ask Susanna" and she answer a girl's question and it made her class go crazy.I really like this book and I think you would, too.

Twilight

Twilight is an amazing book about a girl named Bella, who lives with her mom but one day she wants to go to her dad's house for the year. This book is really descriptive when it comes to describing people. For example, "Then a doctor walked around the corner, and my mouth fell open. He was young, he was blonde...and he was handsomer than any movie star I'd seen. He was pale, though, and tired looking, with circles under his eyes. From Charlies description this had to be Edward's father". Though I am only in the early pages of sixty I have seen a lot of that.

This book has a lot of, romance, action, thrills, mysteriousness and even a bit of scariness. So far in this book I have been really enterained because of the intresting trates.

I am really excited because this book is going to be made into a movie in a few months.

The New Way Things Work

This is an awesome nonfiction book. Ever wonder what happens to that water before and after it goes down your toilet? Ever wonder how the electricity that powers the computer you're viewing this blog on gets to your house(or school) and then to your computer? This is your book. I would recommend this book to basically anyone who wonders a lot. It is as much of a girls book as it is a boys book. It even has a little story about a mammoth in the last section(there are five sections, each divided into chapters).

Fire Bringer

Fire Bringer is the story of a deer. His name is Ranoch. There is a prophecy about him, and when he is one he is forced to leave his herd with some friends. They travel all over Great Britain. I don't think that the beginning of the book really goes with the end or the middle of the book. In the first three chapters Ranoch is not even alive. I think that is pretty weird. Something like that happened in the middle of the book too. The author skips three years of the storey. I think that the author should not of done that. I say that because this is not the longest book ever written and the author should put in as much detail as possible. I really loved the action in this book. The characters seem unbelievably real as the travel through the land. There is a bit of humor. Altogether this is one of my all time favorite books

Schooled

This is a great book by Gordon Korman. In it, Capricorn Anderson's grandma, Rain, breaks her hip while picking plums and working with Cap on a vocabulary lesson. Cap, who is homeschooled, has to go to Claverage Middle School (a.k.a. C Average Middle School). While there, [beep(top secret)] and [beep(top secret)] happen. Read the book to find out the effect [beep(top secret)] and [beep(top secret)] have on the outcome!

This is a weird book. Every chapter, the narrator changes. Like one chapter Cap is the narrator. The next, Mrs. Donnely- the [beep(top secret)] is. There is a reason for all the [beep(top secret)]s. I wanted to give a short summary of the book, but I didn't want to reveal what happens. Easy as pie to explain.

A Smart Girls Guide To Sticky Situations

This book is more of a girl book than a boy book, because it has problems that girls might need to solve, and that boys wouldn't, such as things like how to calm a crying baby. I thought this book was really good because it told me how to do things that I never even thought about in the first place, such as if you spill cherry soda on your moms best carpet. So I would really reccomend this book for girls who want to know how to do things by them selves. If you are one of those kinds o0f people, than this book would definitely be one of your very favorites. I would give this book a nine out of ten because while it had some problems in it, there were still some that I was wondering about. It really sounds like some of these problems are ones that we need to know about! This book also has some similarities with other books that I have read. Such as, Eleven, Twelve, and The Feelings Book. I really, really, really, love this book, and if you read it, I think that you will ,too.

Skeleton Key

Skeleton Key by Anthony Horowitz was a book with adventure, excitement, a splash of romance, and may i warn you a bit of violence.
This book was the kind of book that you can barely put down. One night I read so late and i had to ask my parents to take it away from me so I could get some sleep!

I wish I could relate to some of the character but i can't its basically impossible some are spies, some are adults, I just can't relate to anyone!

I would recommend this book to anyone who liked the The Adventures of Hugo Cabret because its a bit scary ,exciting, and mysterious at parts. But The two books are very different.
Skeleton Key is a book about a fourteen year old spy who gos on all kinds of adventures with special gadgets some of my favorite are: The Bubblegum that could release chemicals to break metal apart once chewed enough, the Tiger woods figurine that when twisted in the right directions will become a sleep bomb, and last but not least the CD player that when used correctly can become a razor sharp saw.

This is one of the best books I have read and I hope other people read it to.

Who Won the War?

This book has touched my heart. Even though the girls and boys are always playing fun or tricky jokes on each other they have the most fun they have ever had. This book is really funny because all the jokes the boys and girls play on each other.

One of my favorite characters in the girls group is Caroline. I like Caroline because she is the youngest of the group.I like how she always wants to be the star of everything because it gives the boys a lot of chances to make the book funnier. Caroline is always full of ideas. She really wants to become an actress on Broadway when she grows up. My favorite character in the boys group is Jake because he is so smart, though he does like to dare people a lot. He is always the person who makes sure that the pranks that they play are perfect. Wally always gets the ideas of what prank to play on the girls next, then Jake perfects it.Jake also always is the person to go first. He always is the own to get into more trouble then the other boys. Peter is a six year old boy who is the younger brother of the boys. He is normally on the boys side, but when the girls bake cookies for him then he immediately tells the girls all about the boys secrets and what they are planning to do next to the girls.

I recommend this book to others that like funny books and also like pranks, jokes and sometimes a little mean trick. If you are wondering no-one gets hurt.

Molly Moon, the Incredible Book of Hypnotism

WARNING:  THE FOLLOWING POST TELLS A LOT ABOUT THE STORY LINE OF THIS BOOK.

This book is about an orphan girl called Molly Moon who lives at the Harwick House orphanage. Her only friend, Rocky, is black, and she gets into a fight with him and loses her friendship with him. Then, Molly finds a book about hypnotism, and quickly learns how to hypnotise even a large crowd of people. While learning, she makes friends with a pug named Petula. Soon, Rocky is adoted by a friendly looking couple who live far, far away, and Molly and Petula go out on a search to find him. Then, this search turns into a perilous journey to rescue the kidnnapped Petula, and Molly is forced to do something horrible, at the sake of her beloved pug's life. This book is the perfect book for anybody who likes adventure and just plain mystery.

Point Blanc

Point Blanc by Anthony Horowitz is a good book I read a while ago about a boy named Alex who is a spy who goes on missions around the world. In these books you never see what coming next is coming. He knows karate and can speak many languages from training but is behind on his GCSE's because he is missing so much of school. In this book he is sent on a mission to France to a school named point blanc where many mysterious things go on. This is probably my favorite book so far of the series because its a bit scary, really exciting, a tiny bit sad, and cool.  A thing I love about these books are the gadgets! so many awesome thing are used in the books. But this particular book is unique because he makes friends along the way and gains enemies, many enemies.

Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls: Moving day

Allie Finkle is a non-perfect girl who lives in a perfect room inside a perfect house on a perfect street and has to move into a "haunted House". She tries to get out of it but ends up liking the house.

I liked this book because it got me wondering what it would be like if I had to move. I bet I would be not as, but almost as scared as her. But she kind of made a big deal out of it. I mean she believed her neighbor who told her there was a zombie hand in the attic. I only a little bit believed him. He voice did sound fake though.(that is how I imagined his voice)If I had to move I would start crying if I had to move out of the state but get over it and take the things my parents gave me to feel better. for instance a kitten (Allie was offered that).  If I were her I would behave so I could get the kitten (her mom said that if she was good she could get a kitten). I also liked the book because it was a quick read and a bit easy for my level but it was fun to read.

Cirque Du Freak

Cirque Du Freak is a great series by Darren Shan and there are twelve books in all. Although it can be a little dark and scary at times, it still stays at the top of my list of good books. Cirque Du Freak is a real page turner once you get into it, and once you're into it, it becomes fast paced, and thrilling from every single one of the characters. Even the animals and kids become part of the action!

Cirque Du Freak may be a tad boring, just in the first ten pages or so, but once you turn page ten, and get to page eleven, it starts to become very exciting, and let's face it; all books are boring in the beginning. Once you're into a book in the Cirque Du Freak series, you just don't want to stop reading it, and I would recommend this series to anyone who is hungry for more.

Encyclopedia Brown Cracks the Case

But his dad also happens to be the chief of police, and every night around the dinner table, Encyclopedia helps him solve his most baffling crimes. Join Encyclopedia Brown as he solves ten of his newest and most confounding mysteries, including a case of a missing butterfly brooch, some stolen Confederate stamps, a forgetful jewel thief, and more. With the clues given in each case, readers will have a chance to solve the mystery themselves! Interactive and chock-full of interesting bits of information-it's classic Encylopedia Brown!

White Sands, Red Menace

White Sands, Red menace is the sequel to the Green Glass Sea. It takes place in 1946. In White Sands, Red Menace the main character's adventure continues. Their names are Dewey and Suze. Dewey likes to invent and Suze is an artist. They are best friends and they live together. Throughout this book you will get very attached to the characters. It's a real page turner and one of my favorite books.

Nancy Drew The Ringmasters Seceret

Almost everybody knows about this series, but does everyone know that there is no such person as Carolyn Keene the author, and that there were a bunch of writers who wrote the series all together and decided to call her Carolyn Keene? Well I didn't until a few weeks ago.

I enjoy reading mysteries and especially Nancy Drew's, because this series is very interesting, exciting and very detailed. If you read them you will notice that Nancy is very polite and calls a lot of people dears. I think that. that is really sweet of her. My favorite character is Nancy because like I said before, she is really sweet to others, she has a wonderful, sense of humor which always makes a book good and she is really brave and tries to help her friends. I also enjoy reading about Hannah Gruen, Nancy's maid. It's so weird to read about her when she is asked to do something, because now in Mill Valley NOBODY has them.

I have a connection, in this book she learn's to trick ride horses then gets to go to the circus and I ride horses and will once in a while vault. I recommend this book/series to children who like a lot of action and mystery.
