Chew On This

Chew on This is an interesting book in which it talks about how hamburgers were invented, how fast food started and how it became to be so bad for you.

Me and my grandmother read this book together and after she had read about how they make fries she said " I am NEVER EVER eating any more french fries. I really like this book because it makes people (expeicly Americans) open thier eyes and show them that fast food really is bad for you.

Do you want to kmow how they invented the hamburger? Started Mcdonalds, Subway, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell etc.? Well, it's all in Chew On This!!

  1. I have two questions --

What was the one thing you learned that changed your thinking the most?

What was the grossest thing you found out?

  3. That is one of the greatest books in the world!!!!! I'm not much of one for non-fiction, but that was one of the most interesting books that I've ever read! The history of the burger, the fast food industry and Mc Donalds is so amazing. There are a whole bunch of other things in it that were amazing, but I cant fit 450 pages into 1 comment. Anyone who sees this absolutely must read that book! (It was my library birthday book and it earned it's own spot in our class room favorites.)
