My Life In France is a book about Julia Child. How she got to know french cooking, how she met Paul(her husband) and how she became an all time time famous chef.
This book is very informatoinl, so it would only do for very advanced readers that like nonfictoin.
I really do like this book because in fourth grade I was Julia Child for famous Californians. So now I can compare the information that I found out, to the information that the author, Alex Prud'homme, got. I think that the author got more accurate info because he interviewed THE Julia Child.
Hey, this really ties to the biography project that we are doing in writing workshop. Would you be interested in bringing the book in and doing a book talk about it? I think it would be interesting to see a wide variety of biographies. And, since it is about food, I bet a lot of kids will be interested.
