War of the worlds is about aleins that come from mars to invade earth(in other words, wipe out the whole world.) Now the world must survive big death rays, tenticals, and blood thirsty aleins.
The main character is a father who must protect his daughter an find his son.
I absolutly love this book because It is a total science fiction story. So for all you scince fiction lovers out there, you will love this.
On a scale to 1 to 10, I would give it... 10+!
In the 1940's there was a radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds, which was based on H.G. Wells 1898 novel of the same title. If you like the book, which I think is based on the recent movie with Tom Cruise, you might be interested in the original radio broadcast, which was performed as a Halloween special. Ask your parents, Joe. I'll bet they can turn you on to it!
